Every year a list of the worlds fastest supercomputers is published two times a year. The list is called the Top500. An updated Top500 list was published last week.
The Japanese supercomputer developed by Riken and called Fugaku is now the fastest supercomputer in the world! What an amazing achievement by the Riken team. Congratulations to all involved!
We are very proud to say that Pacific Teck has 7 sites in the Top500 and 13 software installations. What a privilege it is to be part of the supercomputer industry and advancing scientific research.
We have many new sites in the works and exciting projects to come. We can’t wait to show you the details about the ground breaking innovations that these sites achieved.
Here are some of the projects we have been involved with that are ranked in TOP500:
1st Supercomputer Fugaku / Riken (iRODS, SingularityPRO)
11th ABCI / AIST (Univa Grid Engine, Singularity Enterprise, BeeGFS)
26th Taiwania 2 / NCHC (part of the system running Univa Grid Engine, SingularityPRO)
28th TSUBAME3.0 / TiTech (Univa Grid Engine, BeeGFS)
37th Flow / Nagoya University (BeeGFS, NVMesh)
60th Oakbridge-CX / Tokyo University (BeeGFS)
284th AFI-NITY / Tohoku University (Univa Grid Engine)
In addition, we have started to handle new products for cloud storage/RStor, cluster management/Bright Computing, object storage/Caringo. With our partnership with iRODS and RStor we have a solution that will enable one to create policies and move data to a low cost cloud data storage hosted by RStor.
Feel free to contact us if you are interested in our products or if there is anything we can help you with.
